Our International Trade practice has been at the forefront of Ukrainian trade law since the late 1980s, with our lawyers among the first in Ukraine to advise on foreign economic activity and cross-border trade regulation. Our firm has also contributed to the development of Ukraine’s trade framework at the legislative and policy level. In particular, Sergii Koziakov participated in the drafting of the Law of Ukraine “On Foreign Economic Activity,” which introduced core international trade concepts into Ukrainian legislation. We have also worked with international institutions and public bodies on trade-related reforms, including projects involving the World Bank, USAID, and the Ministry of Economy.
