The Scythian Gold Case (2014-2024, Netherlands)

For nearly a decade, Ukraine fought to secure the return of priceless Crimean museum artefacts stranded in the Netherlands after Russia’s occupation of Crimea. Working with Ukrainian authorities and Dutch counsel, our team supported the legal strategy that led to a Dutch Supreme Court ruling and the collection’s return to Ukraine for safekeeping until Crimea is de-occupied.

The Vitaliy Markiv Case (2017–2021, Italy)

A cross-border case in Italy arising from the tragic death of Italian photojournalist Andrea Rocchelli near Sloviansk in 2014. Acting for the State of Ukraine as a civil defendant – alongside Italian counsel – we helped the court obtain a full and fact-based picture of events and supported the defence strategy that ultimately led to an acquittal on appeal in Milan, later upheld by the Supreme Court of Cassation.

USD 50m Public Procurement Win for Ukrainian Industrial Group

A team of lawyers from Koziakov & Partners has successfully defended the interests of a leading Ukrainian industrial group in a series of court disputes initiated by a competitor. The total value of the disputed procurement was approximately USD 50 million.

UAH 34m AMCU Fine Overturned in Unfair Competition Dispute

Koziakov and Partners successfully defended the interests of a leading dairy producer in a dispute with the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine over unfair competition and a UAH 34 million fine.
