Andrii has extensive experience in complex litigation, cross-border disputes, and competition and antitrust matters. He regularly acts in high-value commercial disputes, including those involving contractual liability and public procurement, and represents clients in challenges to decisions of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, particularly in cases concerning abuse of dominance, unfair competition, and anti-competitive conduct.
Andrii represents multinational corporations, industry leaders, and public sector clients — including the State of Ukraine — in their most critical matters, and handles international commercial arbitrations under the rules of the ICC, VIAC, SAC, SCC, and ICAC at the Ukrainian CCI. He advises on applicable law and leads matters involving the recognition, enforcement, and setting aside of arbitral awards and foreign court judgments in Ukraine. Andrii has played a key role in representing the State of Ukraine in landmark international cases, including the Vitaliy Markiv proceedings in Italy and the Scythian Gold dispute in the Netherlands, as well as in numerous multi-million-dollar ICSID investment arbitrations.
Beyond disputes, Andrii supports Ukrainian and international clients in navigating environmental and regulatory challenges linked to Ukraine’s path toward European Union accession, helping them anticipate risks and stay ahead of a rapidly evolving legal landscape.

Arbitration & Dispute Resolution
・Acting for the State of Ukraine in complex, multi-million-dollar ICSID investment arbitrations spanning the oil and gas, construction, retail, and renewable energy sectors.
・Acted for the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine in litigation and ICC arbitration proceedings relating to disputes with contractors under FIDIC road construction contracts.
・Acted for the State of Ukraine in the Vitaliy Markiv case, a high-profile criminal proceeding in Italy brought by the Italian prosecution following the death of journalist Andrea Rocchelli during Ukraine’s anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
・Acted for the State of Ukraine in the Scythian Gold case before the courts of the Kingdom of the Netherlands against pro-Russian Crimean museums, contributing to the successful return of cultural heritage artefacts to Ukraine.
・Acted for Ukraine’s national agency in a multi-million dollar contractual dispute with a foreign supplier of specialised goods at the Swiss Arbitration Centre.
・Represented Arsenal Special Device Production State Enterprise in Ukrainian courts and in arbitration proceedings before the ICAC at the UCCI of Ukraine and of the russian federation in contractual disputes with russian counterparties concerning the non-delivery of dual-use goods, with a total value of approximately USD 12 million;

・Representing companies of INTERPIPE group in a number of commercial litigation cases challenging the results of public procurement processes, with a cumulative value of over USD 100 million.
・Acting for a leading Ukrainian industrial company in commercial litigation arising from contractual delays involving force majeure and claims worth approximately USD 12 million.
・Succesfully represented Odessa Port Plant, a strategic enterprise in Ukraine’s chemical sector, in three landmark competition related litigations involving OJSC Togliattiazot, SE Ukrhimtransammiak, and the AMCU.
・Represented DTEK Energo LLC in corporate disputes relating to share transactions and related regulatory matters.
・Acted for a major construction company in commercial litigation arising from a contractual dispute with the employer regarding delays to the completion of the project and monetary claims.

・Represented Ukraine’s largest tobacco distributor in litigation challenging a decision of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine concerning abuse of dominance and the imposition of a fine.
・Represented Odessa Port Plant, a strategic enterprise in Ukraine’s chemical sector, in a landmark AMCU investigation into the abuse of dominance during ammonia transshipment

・Providing legal advice to a Ukrainian industrial company regarding EU environmental regulations and obligations under the EU–Ukraine Association Agreement.
・Providing legal advice to a Belgian Foundation involved into enhancing hazardous waste management in Ukraine.
・Advising Ukrainian and foreign businesses on environmental issues arising in connection with Ukraine’s planned accession to the EU.
